Best Employees FCU was organized in 1957 to service employees of the Ford Motor Stamping Plant in Walton Hills. Since then, we have grown to be one of the larger credit unions in the area, serving many additional Select Employee Groups and their families.
Credit union policies are set by the Board of Directors who are volunteers elected by and from our membership. As a federally insured credit union, we are audited yearly and are proud to have consistently received high ratings for strength and stability. All accounts are federally insured up to $100,000 by the National Credit Union Administration, a U.S. Government Agency.
Best Employees Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit cooperative financial institution owned and controlled by the people who use its services - its members. The credit union philosophy of “people helping people” means you are more than just a customer, you are part owner. We are different from other financial institutions because, as a not-for-profit financial institution, we don’t have to generate a profit for stockholders. Instead, our earnings are returned to the member in the form of lower rates on loans, higher dividend rates on savings and investment accounts, and low or no-cost services.
